1. Preheat your t-shirt or desired item on a heat press for 15 seconds at a temperature range of 285-325°F (140-163°C).
2. Carefully place the direct-to-film transfer onto the shirt, ensuring proper alignment.
3. Apply medium to heavy pressure and press the transfer for 15 seconds. This will securely bond the design to the fabric.
4. Allow the transfer to cool down completely before peeling off the film. This cooling process ensures that the design sets firmly onto the fabric.
5. For added durability and longevity, cover the transferred area with a Teflon or parchment paper. Apply medium pressure and press for an additional 10 seconds. This step helps maximize the design's resilience.

What is DTF?
DTF transfers involve printing single color/full color designs directly onto film using ink from a printer. Unlike sublimation, which is limited to polyester fabrics and light garments, DTF allows you to print on 100% cotton and on both light and dark garments. DTF transfers offer vibrant and long-lasting colors similar to vinyl heat transfers, but with the added advantage of eliminating the need for vinyl weeding, saving you valuable time and effort.
